Mental health therapist

Heidys Alvarez

Psychologist who graduated from the University of Havana (2001), with a master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Valencia; now completing her master’s in Clinical Social Work at Ana G. Méndez University. Over two decades blending clinical psychology, social work, and a holistic view of emotional well-being.

Mental health therapist

Malena Varens

Psychologist trained in Havana, with a bachelor’s in psychology and education and a master’s in general psychology; pursuing a master’s in clinical social work, on the path to LCSW and LMHC. She supports children, adults, and older adults facing anxiety, depression, and grief, with compassionate, person-centered care.

Facilitator

Jordy Trespalacios

Born in Havana, trained as a biology teacher and passionate about psychology, he came to the United States in 2022 and turned every change into learning. He works with older adults in the psychosocial field, creating spaces to listen, accompany, and help people feel seen and valued.
